Pegasus Stress monitoring system through from 15 to 100 sensors compensated in temperature positioned in ballast tanks, decks or cargo holds is able to measure the real stress suffered by a ship during the loading/unloading operations or navigation in heavy weather conditions and moreover the fatigue cycling evaluation during the ship’s life.

 Pegaso Systems has developed a technological systems based on fibre optic cables specially suitable for naval sector applications for new ships or retrofits. Pegasus Temp is an innovative distributed temperature monitoring system, based on fibre optic technologies, specifically projected for the measurement of temperatures and variations.
Through a sensor cable, temperatures are detected every 1,5 metres max 16Km long every 90 sec. The system is suitable for many kind of vessel and can be linked with conditioning and fire detection systems.
Pegasus Temp is specially suitable for passengers ships (balconies fire detection) and it is used also as leak detection systems for LNG carriers allowing to find leakages in pipeline or equipments measuring temperatures directly on site. High accuracy, indoor & outdoor applications, low cost installation, low maintenance energy savings and reliability are the key points of this system. |
