Its good knowledge of the technology,together with the capacity of creating customized products led the company to a high problem solving level and to be ableto offer a full range of services, from the projecting to the installation of the systems.

Pegaso Systems S.r.l. opera dal 2006 anni nel campo navale, oil & gas e civile nei monitoraggio in continuo a fibre ottiche. La società è nata con l’idea di trasferire sistemi di monitoraggio ad alta tecnologia utilizzati in applicazioni in campo civile a quelle dello shipping permettendo monitoraggi navali.
La capacità di realizzare un prodotto customizzato permette di risolvere i problemi del committente e di proporre un servizio completo dalla progettazione alla realizzazione degli impianti.
:: ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Pegaso Systems developed some monitoring systems based on the most updated fibre optic techniques (FBG, raman and brillouin) for a multipurpose real time control of civil and industrial structures, both static or dynamic, both continuously or periodical. The main advantages of the use of such technology lie on the reliability, long lasting, stability and accuracy of the components, together with the versatility of the monitoring scope.
So far the company has been particularly involved in the introduction of its systems in the shipping sector (Pegasus Stress - hull stress monitoring system; Pegasus-Temp – distributed temperature monitoring; leak detection. In the civil sector Pegaso has been involved in some projects regarding dams monitoring. In the next future the company aims at widening its presence in the civil sector, mainly developing innovative applications and solutions.
