Pegaso Systems has developed a technological systems based on fibre optic cables specially suitable for naval sector applications for new criogenic plants or retrofits. Pegasus Temp is an innovative distributed temperature monitoring system, based on fibre optic technologies, specifically projected for the measurement of temperatures and variations.
Through a sensor cable, temperatures are detected every 1,5 metres max 16Km long every 90 sec. Pegasus Temp is specially suitable for LNG plants (criogenic spheres temperatures) and it is used also as leak detection systems for LNG carriers allowing to find leakages in pipeline or equipments measuring temperatures directly on site. High accuracy, indoor & outdoor applications, low cost installation, low maintenance energy savings and reliability are the key points of this system. |
