 :: PEGASUS TEMP – HEAT AND FIRE DETECTION
Pegaso Systems has developed a technological systems based on fibre optic cables specially suitable for oil & gas applications for new plants or retrofits. Pegasus Temp is used to monitor heat and fire inside all the tunnel through a fibre optic cable installed in the tunnel roof.
It is an innovative distributed temperature monitoring system, based on fibre optic technologies, specifically projected for the measurement of temperatures inside tunnel. Through a sensor cable temperatures are detected every 1,5 metres max 16Km long every 90 sec. Pegasus Temp is used as fire detection system allowing to get temperatures directly on site. High accuracy, low cost installation, low maintenance, and reliability are the key points of this system. |
